An anti-missile interceptor is being tested in Israel. Its name is David Sling, and is designed to kill rockets in the medium and long term. David Sling uses a radar and an electro-optical guided system to track missiles. The launch of the test is part of Israel's multi-level air defense system. This system also includes the iron dome, which is used to intercept short range missiles. David Sling should be fully operational in early April.
